Winter in the Stubai Valley offers four ski resorts – above all the Stubai Glacier, which is guaranteed to have snow. Whether skiing, cross-country skiing, tobogganing or winter hiking – there is something for everyone here. Our hotel is in a quiet but central location, with good connections to the ski resorts.

The Hotel Serles is located in Mieders, right next to the Serlesbahnen valley station – ideal for winter hikers, tobogganists and families.

• The nearest ski area for skiers is Schlick 2000 in Fulpmes, only about 10 minutes away by car or bus.
• The Stubai Glacier, Austria's largest glacier ski area, is about a 30-minute drive away – easily accessible by car, free ski bus or the hotel's own shuttle. 
• The Axamer Lizum ski area is about 35 minutes away by car.

A real highlight: Chef Josef or Junior Chef Thomas accompany you 5 days a week to the most beautiful ski areas around Innsbruck – and even as far as South Tyrol. Personally guided, varied and ideal for anyone who wants to experience more than just one ski area.

The Hotel Serles has a ski room with a heated ski boot dryer at your disposal. Ski hire and ski storage facilities are available directly at the valley stations of the ski areas.

Away from the slopes, the Stubai Valley offers winter hiking trails, toboggan runs, cross-country skiing trails and fantastic walking trails. Particularly popular is the illuminated toboggan run right next to the Serlesbahnen cable cars in Mieders.
